Giving Voice
Equipped with mini-DV cameras, the seven young people featured in Giving Voice document their surroundings at school and at home, with friends and family, and share their responses to viewing survivor testimony. In so doing, they reveal candid observations about intolerance and bigotry. This product is geared towards educators of students ages 14-18 and includes a 30-minute, "reality TV" - style documentary, a reel of testimonies from the Institute's archive, and a teacher's guide with classroom activities that ties the two videos together.
