The Institute has begun preliminary work with partners in Belarus to introduce testimony to local educators and encourage the development of testimony-based classroom materials.

This summer, educators throughout Belarus and Russia—from Bobruisk, Moscow, Pskov, Smolensk, Mogilev, Brest, Rostov, Perm, Briansk, Jekaterinburg, Esher-Kala, and Krasnodar—joined educators in Novogrudok for a four-day session on how to teach about the Holocaust, organized by the Russian Research & Holocaust Education Center, the Belarusian Republican Holocaust Fund and Museum of History and Regional Studies, and Yad Vashem.
