Educational Programming

  • 2005:  Visual History Pilot Program Initial workshop in Vilnius, co-sponsored by the International Commission for the Evaluation of the Crimes of the Nazi and Soviet Occupation Regimes in Lithuania. Five testimonies capturing the wide range of local experiences deposited with Ronaldas Racinskas, the head of the Commission.

Conferences and Workshops

  • 2012: Training Teacher Trainers seminar, in Siauliai.  In conjunction with the seminar, USC Shoah Foundation and United States Holocaust Memorial Museum developed a DVD resource for the Ministry of Education in Lithuania. 2011: Training Teacher Trainers Conference in Lithuania.

  • 2011: Dr. Dan Leshem, the Institute’s Associate Director for Academic Outreach and Research, gave a presentation at a seminar in Lithuania titled "Training teacher-trainers: European Holocaust History, Human Rights, and Tolerance Today.”
