About this lesson
The goal is to look at the Righteous Among the Nations, who risked everything in order to do what was right. The testimonies of four rescuers and four survivors will enable students to explore and discuss why some people during the Holocaust, at a risk to themselves, took a difficult path and did what was right. Students will be engaged in the concept of why it is important to stand up for what is right, and why one cannot, and should not, wait for others to take action in order to protect those in need.
