A devout Jehovah’s Witness, Franz Wohlfahrt depicts in his testimony the intense suffering he endured in prisons and camps while also demonstrating a determined, unshakable faith. The lesson’s theme, Standing Firm in Faith, explores Franz’s religious convictions and draws upon a poem Franz wrote in 1944 as he faced almost certain death.
