During April 1994, on a quiet road in Kigali, a group of neighbors were filmed during the opening days of the Rwandan Genocide. Even though as many as one million people were slaughtered, only a single known segment of footage shows any killing.

Iseta: Behind the Road Block
is about the extraordinary journey of that evidence, as the original cameraman returns to Rwanda to revisit the people and events that he by chance caught on film. As the footage returns to the community, friends and family relive the tragic events as they work with the cameraman to identify the victims, and eventually the killers.

Screening introduced by co-director and producer Eric Kabera and followed by audience Q&A.

Tuesday, April 12
3:30 p.m.
Leavey Auditorium

Co-presented by USC Fight On for Darfur.
