The Institute has organized a professional development workshop for educators in Budapest, Hungary. The workshop will take place at Central European University (CEU), which gained access to the Institute's Visual History Archive in 2009.

Building on the success of its Master Teacher Program in the United States, the Institute is expanding its professional development program to reach Central and Eastern Europe, through workshops tailored to meet regional educational needs (related news). These workshops will include demonstrations of IWitness, a Web application that enables teachers and students to search and watch more than 1,000 testimonies from the Visual History Archive.
