The Institute's Project Director of Educational Programs, Sherry Bard, will lead a seminar for local educators on teaching with testimony and give a presentation of IWitness at the Illinois Holocaust Museum on July 24. Among the museum's permanent holdings are more than 2,000 testimonies collected by the USC Shoah Foundation Institute from survivors in the Midwestern United States; testimony is also integrated into the Zev and Shifra Karkomi Permanent Exhibition, a central feature that presents the narrative of the Holocaust using over 500 artifacts, documents, and photographs.
