USC Shoah Foundation's Stephen Smith at SXSW
USC Shoah Foundation Executive Director Stephen Smith will join a panel at the South by Southwest Conference in Austin about immersive learning.
Called “Immersive Learning: No Frames, No Walls, No Limit,” the panel will discuss and explore the future of learning and cultural engagement in a world where the physical and visual arts, and the full range of formal and informal learning, no longer need to be seen or framed in traditional spaces, places and media formats.
Joining Smith on the panel will be renowned Broadway designer David Korins, who has created museum installations for USC Shoah Foundation; Bethany James, vice president of digital products and user experience at National Geographic; and Tim Dilllon, head of VR and immersive content at Moving Picture Company (MPC).
