Wed, 05/15/2013 - 10:31am

Dr. Kori Street, Director of Education for USC Shoah Foundation, will be participating in a panel at the upcoming International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) Conference in San Antonio, Texas from June 23 through June 26. The annual ISTE conference and exposition is the premier conference for educators and education leaders from around the world who are engaged in advancing excellence in learning and teaching through the innovative and effective uses of technology.

The panel, “ISTE-Recognized and NETS-Aligned: Powerful Resources for Transformation,” will help educators rethink and redesign learning so students gain the thinking and workforce skills they need.  The panel is slated for Monday, June 24 from 2:30 to 3:30pm.

Dr. Street was invited to join the panel as ISTE recently award IWitness, the Institute’s educational website, with a Seal of Alignment for Proficiency, as IWitness supports ISTE National Education Technology Standards.

Carolyn Sykora, who leads ISTE’s Seal of Alignment Program that reviews and recognizes resources that support NETS integration in all aspects of learning, teaching, and leadership, will host the panel.
