Auschwitz: The Past is Present

Born In the City That Became Auschwitz

USC Shoah Foundation's exhibit Born in the City that Became Auschwitz is now available in Ukrainian as well as 12 other languages including Chinese, Arabic and German. The exhibit features historical information and testimony clips about the Polish town of Oświęcim, which was home to a thriving Jewish population until Auschwitz was built in 1940.

Surviving Auschwitz: Five Personal Journeys

Organized around an interactive map of the world that traces the paths of survivors on five continents, this online exhibit draws viewers into the testimonies of five men and women and their extraordinary lives before, during, and after the Holocaust. Geared toward students ages 13-18, and the general public, Surviving Auschwitz utilizes four hours of testimony video clips from the Institute's archive.
