Social Media Marketing Specialist Deanna Hendrick joined the communication team at  USC Shoah Foundation in July 2013.  Deanna graduated cum laude with a BA in Journalism and a Spanish minor from California State University, Long Beach. In 2017 she received a Masters in Communication Management at USC Annenberg School for Communications and Journalism.

Stephen D Smith is the Andrew J. and Erna Finci Viterbi Executive Director Chair of the USC Shoah Foundation in Los Angeles, whose Visual History Archive holds 53,000 testimonies of eyewitnesses to the Holocaust and other genocides. He also holds the UNESCO Chair on Genocide Education and is an Adjunct Professor of Religion. He founded the UK Holocaust Centre, The Aegis Trust for the prevention of crimes against humanity and genocide. He was Project Director of the Kigali Genocide Centre, Rwanda.

Kori Street is the USC Shoah Foundation’s director of education. She came to the Institute in 2011 from Mount Royal University, where she was an associate professor and served as chair of entrepreneurship, nonprofit studies, international business and aviation in the Bissett School of Business. After completing a master’s in the History of Education and Gender/Feminism at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education/University of Toronto, Dr. Street received her PhD in history from the University of Victoria in 2001. Dan Leshem is Associate Director for Research Director of the USC Shoah Foundation–The Institute for Visual History and Education. Dr. Leshem holds a Ph.D. in Comparative Literature & Jewish Studies from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. His dissertation, The Language of Suffering: Writing and Reading the Holocaust argued for the necessity of ethical approaches to interpreting Holocaust testimony.

An award-winning writer, Josh Grossberg joined the USC Shoah Foundation as public communications manager in August 2013. Prior to that, Josh was an editor and reporter for several newspapers. He has a bachelor’s degree in journalism with a focus on ethnomusicology.

Program Administrator of Audiovisual Collections, Hrag Yedalian joined the USC Shoah Foundation in November 2012. Hrag oversees the expansion of the USC Shoah Foundation’s Visual History Archive to include testimony from survivors and witnesses of other genocides and crimes against humanity. Hrag has a background in documentary filmmaking but also has worked in various nonprofits and even state and local government.

Nora Snyder is a senior International Relations and Middle East studies double major and USC Shoah Foundation intern. She has worked as a research intern since her sophomore year, after attending the Problems Without Passports trip to Cambodia. She has also participated in the trip to Rwanda and recently became president of the Shoah Foundation Institute Student Association (SFISA).
