In March 2010, the USC Shoah Foundation Institute and the USC Rossier School of Education co-hosted a training session for teachers on the use of Echoes and Reflections, an award-winning multimedia curriculum on the Holocaust created in partnership with the Anti-Defamation League and Yad Vashem.  Deborah Batiste, Project Director for the Echoes and Reflections program, led the training session.  Click here to learn more about Echoes and Reflections.

A 41. Magyar Filmszemle 30 dokumentumfilmje közé válogatták Jávor István Laló című 55 perces munkáját. Erdélyi Lajos erdélyi fotográfus a XX. század mindkét diktatúráját megélte, jelentős részét kettős – magyar és zsidó – kisebbségben. Az életét bemutató filmben különös hangsúlyt kapnak a második világháború előtti marosvásárhelyi évek, valamint a holokauszt időszaka.

The first phase of the program in which educator teams developed multimedia lessons from the Hungarian-language testimonies of the Institute’s Visual History Archive ended on April 17, 2010 with an official ceremony at the Holocaust Memorial Center in Budapest. The program was based on a three-way partnership between the USC Shoah Foundation Institute, the Holocaust Memorial Center and the Educational Research and Development Institute (OFI) of the Hungarian Ministry of Education.
