Nanjing testimonies included in Facing History and Ourselves 2015: 20 new Nanjing Massacre survivor testimonies are recorded in December 2014: The first 12 testimonies of survivors of the 1937 Nanjing Massacre are indexed and integrated into the Visual History Archive. The next 18 testimonies are recorded in September and October.

2015-2016: Florian Köppl serves as the USC Shoah Foundation Austrian Holocaust Memorial Service in which he works at the Institute for a year in lieu of his mandatory military service.  Each year, USC Shoah Foundation hosts an intern from the Austrian Holocaust Memorial Service. The AHMS is an alternative to Austria's six-month military service requirement for men; instead of serving in the military after high school, they can complete year-long internships at Holocaust memorial institutions around the world or other social service organizations.

2016: “Finding Oscar,” a film produced by Steven Spielberg about the Guatemalan Genocide, screened at several film festivals, including the Ojai Film Festival, DOC NYC, Telluride and the Boston Film Festival 2016: The Florida Holocaust Museum and USC Shoah Foundation partnered on initiatives to enhance testimony preservation, access, and education.
