Frieda Kahn

Executive Director of Development

Based out of New York, Frieda Kahn joined USC Shoah Foundation in December 2015. Prior to joining the Institute, Frieda worked as the sole US Development and Alumnae Relations Representative for Neve College for Women, and has worked as a Senior Auditor for KPMG LLP in its financial services practice. Frieda completed her Bachelor of Science in accounting at Yeshiva University’s Syms School of Business and is a licensed CPA in New York.

Nick Kennedy

Associate Director of Annual Giving

Nick Kennedy joined USC Shoah Foundation in October 2015 as the Assistant Director of Annual Giving. In his current role as Associate Director of Annual Giving, Nick manages a portfolio of annual fund donors and is responsible for all direct mail and online appeal projects, as well as other cultivation and solicitation projects. Nick completed a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Claremont McKenna College, and is currently in the MBA program at the USC Marshall School of Business.

Jayne Perilstein

Managing Director of Advancement

Based in New York and Philadelphia, Jayne has served as Managing Director of Advancement for USC Shoah Foundation since 2012. Prior to joining USC, Jayne was President of The ARJAY Group and spent more than 25 years as a special event, fundraising and volunteer management consultant. She is a graduate of The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Christopher Records

Assistant Director of Stewardship

Christopher assists with stewardship for USC Shoah Foundation and USC Dornsife. Christopher came to USC from K-12 education, after five years of teaching high school special education in LAUSD and managing college readiness programs and school design initiatives for a large charter management organization. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from UC-Riverside, a Master of Arts in Special Education from Loyola Marymount, and a Master of Arts in Public Policy from USC.

Janiece Richard

Assistant Director of Annual Giving

Janiece joined USC Shoah Foundation in October 2016 as part of the annual fund team where she manages a portfolio of leadership annual giving donors. Prior to joining USC Shoah Foundation, she previously worked in the USC Office of Gift Planning, and in alumni relations at Harvard-Westlake School and Cal State L.A. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Journalism and Master of Science in Education from the University of Kansas.

Andrea Waldron

Senior Executive Director, Advancement

Andrea Waldron joined USC Shoah Foundation’s advancement team in June 2016. She serves as the campaign lead for USC Shoah Foundation and manages the major gift team, as well as her own portfolio of donors for the Institute. Andrea is an executive leader and relationship builder with more than 15 years of fund development experience at leading humanitarian, educational and international development organizations.

Nicole Watkins

Director of Donor Relations

Nicole Watkins serves as the Director of Donor Relations for USC Shoah Foundation and is responsible for stewarding our community of donors and producing the Annual Impact Report. Prior to joining USC 10 years ago, Nicole managed the Los Angeles region of Operation Hope’s Banking on Our Future program. Nicole received her MBA, Masters in Television, Radio and Film, and undergraduate degree in Speech Communication from Syracuse University.
