Free seminar for early-career Holocaust researchers
Yad Vashem and USC Shoah Foundation are partnering with the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance to offer a free seminar for early-career Holocaust researchers.
This seminar brings together PhD students and early-career researchers (PhD conferred 2021-2026) from IHRA member, observer, and liaison countries. Participants will deepen their subject expertise, strengthen their teaching and research skills, and expand their professional networks.
Organized in connection with Israel’s 2025 – 2026 IHRA Presidency, the seminar is convened by Yad Vashem, the USC Shoah Foundation, and the IHRA Academic Working Group. The program consists of four parts:
- live Zoom guest lectures
- self-paced online learning
- an in-person exchange and study at the POLIN Museum of the History of Polish Jews (Warsaw, Poland)
- and a series of Zoom wrap-up sessions following the in-person program
The seminar will be conducted in English.
Participating scholars include Christoph Dieckmann, Mary Fulbrook, Andrea Löw, Robert Rozett, David Silberklang, Robert J. Williams, Catherine E. Clark, and Arkadi Zeltser.
