Teachers gathered at Kigali Genocide Memorial for a workshop organized by the USC Shoah Foundation and Aegis Trust IWitness in Rwanda team as part of the Rwandan Peace Education Program (RPEP).

USC Shoah Foundation recently hosted a group of staff from Aegis Trust in Kigali, Rwanda, who came to participate in an onsite training on various aspects of archiving audiovisual testimonies.

Two classes on opposite sides of the world completed an upcoming IWitness activity inspired by USC Shoah Foundation's social media campaign.

Aegis Trust and its partners have launched a new, state-of-the-art Genocide Archive of Rwanda online platform that gives access to never-before-seen information about the 1994 genocide against the Tutsi. Today’s date, June 9, also marks International Archives Day.

Two USC Shoah Foundation staff members gave a presentation to 120 high school students from all over the world who are in Rwanda for the three-week WiSci Girls STEAM Camp.

The workshops, titled “Advanced Use of Multimedia in Peace Education,” were held at the University of Rwanda’s College of Education in Kigali Nov. 19-20 and 24-25.
