From July 26-30, 2010, 18 educators, representing grades 4 through 12, attended the second annual Teaching with Testimony workshop, part of the Institute’s Master Teacher Program.  The workshop provided participants with training on how to develop testimony-based classroom projects and integrate testimony from the Institute’s archive into existing curricula.  Participants are members of the Institute's Teacher Innovation Network.  To learn more about the Master Teacher Program and the Teacher Innovation Network, click here.

The Leichtag Family Foundation has a made a major gift that will enable the USC Shoah Foundation Institute to expand its Teacher Innovation Network, making possible this training for many educators over the next three years.

Tonight the law firm of Holland & Knight and the Holland & Knight Charitable Foundation presented its awards and scholarships to the 10 first-place winners of the firm's Holocaust Remembrance Project, an annual national essay contest for high school students.
