In autumn 1937 Adel’ Zagurskaia and her brother were sent to an orphanage after their mother was arrested as a wife of the “enemy of the people” and deported from Shetivka Hmelnitsk region to Siberia. In this testimony clip, Adel' remembers receiving a letter from her mother after she was imprisoned.
