May Their Memories Be A Blessing

Wed, 12/30/2020 - 8:00am

The Institute mourns the passing of members of our community in 2020, including survivors who have given testimony Hanna Pankowsky, Dario Gabbai, Anneliese Nossbaum, Éva Székely, Itka Zygmuntowicz, Millie Zuckerman, Sol Gringlas, Joseph Feingold, John Adler, George Weiss, Moshe Taube, Irena Veisaite and Dr. William Good. Both John Adler and Joseph Feingold gave testimony recently as part of our The Last Chance testimony initiative.

With heartfelt sadness we also mourn our beloved friends who were lost this year, Kirk Douglas, Arnold Spielberg, Ilia Salita, Sharon Gillerman, and Luke Holland.

In October, we were saddened to learn that USC Next Generation Council Member Ulrika Citron’s mother, Elisabeth Holsten, had passed away. Our thoughts are with Ulrika and her husband Joel, as well as all of the friends and families of those we lost. We are grateful that so many of these survivors, partners, friends, and family members have entrusted us to share their stories for future generations.
