Raíssa Alonso is the 2022-2023 Margee and Douglas Greenberg Research Fellow at the USC Dornsife Center for Advanced Genocide Research. She is a PhD candidate in Social History at the University of São Paulo, Brazil. She earned her MA in 2019, researching anti-Nazi resistance in the German-speaking community in São Paulo, Brazil. She is currently an associated researcher at the ArqShoah/USP project, which interviews and records testimony of Holocaust survivors who took refuge in Brazil. Learn more about Raíssa here.
