May Monthly Institute Visit: RSVP to Attend

Free and open to the public, monthly Institute visits give guests a chance to explore the life stories of survivors and witnesses of the Holocaust and other genocides and to discover how their memories are being used to overcome prejudice, intolerance and bigotry. The public visit for May is full. The next scheduled visit will be available soon.

Description:

  • Receive a hands-on demo of the Visual History Archive, the Institute’s searchable repository of nearly 52,000 video testimonies.
  • Preview IWitness, an award-winning educational website that lets teachers and students 13 and older interact with more than 1,000 testimonies.
  • Visit the state-of-the-art technology facility where the testimonies are digitally restored and preserved to ensure their availability for generations to come.
  • Learn how the Institute works globally to promote tolerance and justice, improve education, and preserve memories of the Holocaust and other genocides.

Location: USC Shoah Foundation, located inside of Leavey Library on the USC campus

Parking: It is recommended that guests enter USC via Gate Entrance 4 off of Jefferson Boulevard (across the street from the Shrine Auditorium; cross street Royal Street) and park in structure D (PSD). Please note that there is a $10 parking fee for all USC parking structures.
