Though the topic of sexual violence against women during genocide is notoriously under-researched, sexual violence against men is even more so. And that’s what USC Shoah Foundation’s 2016-2017 A.I. and Manet Schepps Foundation Teaching Fellow at Texas A&M Tommy Curry hopes to change.

USC Shoah Foundation Center for Advanced Genocide Research will host a steady stream of undergraduate, graduate and faculty fellows this summer who will conduct research in the Visual History Archive for a wide range of projects and courses.

USC Shoah Foundation Center for Advanced Genocide Research is seeking applicants for three fellowships until Friday, April 15 and Sunday, May 1.

The University of Texas at Austin and Texas A&M University are each hosting presentations about USC Shoah Foundation, the Visual History Archive and its possibilities for research this week.

USC Shoah Foundation’s first Texas A&M Teaching Fellow Adam R. Seipp got to do something he doesn’t often get the opportunity to do: work uninterrupted in the Visual History Archive and fully focus on his passion for testimony for a whole week.

The A.I. and Manet Schepps Foundation will fund the three-year, $75,000 initiative for a USC Shoah Foundation teaching fellow and intern at Texas A&M University.
