Ryan Cheuk Him Sun is the 2022-2023 Breslauer, Rutman, and Anderson Research Fellow at the USC Dornsife Center for Advanced Genocide Research. He is a PhD candidate in History at the University of British Columbia. His research focuses on the entangled histories of the British Empire and the Holocaust, specifically through the experiences of Austrian and German Jewish refugees in the British colonies of Hong Kong and Singapore.
