Budapest Workshop, "Teaching with Testimony in the 21st Century" (July 2012)

The inaugural workshop of the Institute's Teaching with Testimony for the 21st Century program ran from July 1-6 at Central European University in Budapest.  The program for teachers in Europe provides professional development training centered on the educational use of Holocaust eyewitness testimony.  Twenty teachers from across Hungary (and three from Hungarian-speaking regions beyond the national border) completed the workshop, which prepared them to produce their own testimony-based classroom lessons and activities.  More
