Nora Snyder is a senior International Relations and Middle East studies double major and USC Shoah Foundation intern. She has worked as a research intern since her sophomore year, after attending the Problems Without Passports trip to Cambodia. She has also participated in the trip to Rwanda and recently became president of the Shoah Foundation Institute Student Association (SFISA).

Amy Marczewski Carnes, Ph.D. completed her doctorate at UCLA in French and Francophone Studies in 2007.  During graduate studies, she taught French language, literature, film, and culture courses in both the U.S. and in France.  Her dissertation, entitled Remembering Together:  Francophone African Literature’s Re-Imagining of the Rwandan Genocide, analyzes the strategies that literature adopts for memorializing genocide and considers new models of commemoration that may cultivate reconciliation in post-conflict society.

Leticia Villasenor is a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of French and Italian at USC. Leticia holds a B.A. in French and a B.A. in International Relations from USC, as well as an M.A. in International Studies from the University of Denver and an M.A. in French from USC. She is currently working on her doctoral dissertation entitled: "Memory Transformations in Postwar France: Ethical Implications of Contemporary Shoah Films and Literature."  Leticia was a student Fellow at the USC Shoah Foundation.

Douglas Greenberg is Senior Fellow at the USC Shoah Foundation and Distinguished Professor of History at Rutgers University. Previously he was the Executive Director of the USC Shoah Foundation, a Professor of History at the University of Southern California, Dean at Princeton University and President of the Chicago Historical Society.

Ivana Hajičová is the head of the English Department at Archbishop High School in Prague, Czech Republic. She holds a master’s degree in English and Spanish for Translating and Interpreting from the Faculty of Arts, Charles University, in Prague. She also has a master’s degree in Applied Ethics from the Catholic Theological Faculty, Charles University. Although she originally started her career as a formal linguist at the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics, CU, she has taught English for over 20 years to high school as well as university students.

Orli Robin is a junior creative writing major and double minors in Judaic studies and resistance to genocide at USC. Orli has been a Shoah Foundation intern for three years and is currently the research assistant to the Institute’s Senior Fellow Doug Greenberg. Orli also volunteers with KAYA Press, a non-profit publishing house that prints Asian diasporic literature. Orli is a USC Levan Institute undergraduate scholar and sings with the USC Thornton Collegium Workshop.

Ulrika Citron was born and raised in Sweden. Citron is the co-chair of USC Shoah Foundation’s Next Generation Council and active in the nonprofit world. She lives in New York City with her husband, Joel, and three children.

Syuzanna Petrosyan is a candidate for a Master's Degree in Public Diplomacy at USC's Annenberg School for Communications and Journalism. As an intern at USC Shoah Foundation for almost two years, she has worked mainly with the department of research and documentation. Syuzanna currently serves as an executive producer for Anneberg’s digital news site, Neon Tommy and is a senior editor for USC’s Public Diplomacy Magazine. Syuzanna holds a B.A. in International Studies and Economics from University of California, Irvine.

Roza Petrosyan graduated with honors from USC with Bachelor Degrees in history and social psychology, as well as a minor in Russian area studies. She interned at the USC Shoah Foundation for three years and continues to work at the Institute as a researcher. In the fall, Roza will attend USC Gould School of Law with the hopes of becoming a human rights advocate.

Nicole Farage is a sophomore communication major minoring in entrepreneurship and journalism at USC. Nicole has been interning with the USC Shoah Foundation in the managing director’s office since January 2014

Larry Ginsburg is a sophomore at the University at Albany, studying Anthropology and Judaic Studies. He is actively involved on campus, serving as UAlbany Hillel's Jewish Life Chair. Larry also serves as a local youth adviser through NCSY, and is the director of programming, education and the 'Counselor in Training' Program at the aforementioned Camp Givah.

Daniel Hrbrek is the director and manager of Švandovo Theatre, pedagogue of acting, direction on DAMU Academy in Prague. Hrbrek has been involved in theater for over twenty years including acting and artistic director for companies and theaters. In 1999 he became the Artistic Director of Švandovo Theatre, one of the oldest Prague theatres (established in 1881). Besides his directing work he also writes stage adaptations and his own plays including Shoah, which the english adapation titled The Good and the True, will open off-Broadway for an eight-week limited engagement.

 Jonathan Stoller-Schoff is a junior at USC majoring in International Relations and Theatre, and minoring in Cinematic Arts. In addition to being an intern at the USC Shoah Foundation, Jonathan is also involved in many student organizations on campus, including STAND, Brand New Theatre and Cardinal Theatre Productions.

Joel Citron is CEO of Tenth Avenue Holdings. Citron has served on the Board of Directors of several public and private companies in Europe and the U.S. Citron is also actively involved in philanthropy. He is currently President of the Board of Trustees at the Abraham Joshua Heschel School in New York (N-12th grade), a board member of USC Shoah Foundation and Starfall Education Foundation. Citron holds an MA in Economics and a BSc in Business Administration from the University of Southern California.

Ingrid Alexovics is the head of the Foreign Language Department at Radnóti Miklós Economic Secondary School in Pécs, Hungary. She holds a master’s degree in English Language and Literature from the Faculty of Arts, University of Pécs. She has taught English as a foreign language and English for specific purposes for over 20 years to high school students and adults. She worked as a Fulbright exchange teacher in Atlantic City High School, New Jersey during the academic year of 2009/2010.

Anna Lenchovska, M.D. in Psychology, is the international consultant in Ukraine for USC Shoah Foundation – The Institute for Visual History and Education. For nearly 10 years she has helped develop educational resources on how to use video testimonies in Ukraine classrooms.  Lenchovska also serves as executive director of the Congress of National Minorities of Ukraine. Prior to this she worked in the Ukrainian NGO “Institute of Jewish Studies” and a clinic for child psychiatry and psychotherapy.

Dan Morgan-Russell is a junior studying International Relations Global Economy at USC. He is an intern with the Executive Office of USC Shoah Foundation, where he contributes to the mission of stopping conflict through education and sharing testimony. Dan also works as the executive producer of Platforum on Trojan Vision, a nightly news and analysis talk show.

Kathy Leventhal is the founding publisher of Allure Magazine and former publisher of Vanity Fair Magazine. Kathy serves on the board of The Hospital for Special Surgery in New York and is an active volunteer in the USC New York Advancement office. 

Jeffrey Langham oversees the management and the strategic development of the Institute's website. Prior to the Institute, Jeffrey worked at a Los Angeles-area design firm for seven years as a web designer/programmer with experience in print design and copywriting. He received his doctorate in English Literature from the University of Southern California.

Marina Kay is a senior International Relations major with an emphasis on the Middle East at USC. Marina interns with the  communications department and is a member of the USC Shoah Foundation Student Association, DEFY. She is also currently a research assistant to the Director of the School of International Relations. 

Edith Umugiraneza, staff member of USC Shoah Foundation was born in Rwanda and survived the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi, but lost most of her family including mother, oldest brother, cousins, nieces, grandparents and uncles. After the Genocide Edith moved to Canada where she finished high school, college and university. In 2004, she moved to Los Angeles where she now lives with her husband and two beautiful daughters. Edith gave her testimony to USC Shoah Foundation and continues to speak about her experience around the Greater Los Angeles area.

Special Education teacher Andra Coulter has worked for the Calgary Board of Education since 2006 teaching in a unique setting for students who demonstrate severe externalizing behaviors. Coulter builds upon the existing abilities of her students to promote the development of their strengths, skills and attributes across school, home and social environments. Coulter has a background in the non-profit sector, working and volunteering for various local agencies prior to her work as a teacher. She holds a B.A in Psychology and a B.Ed in Elementary Education.
