Volevo solo vivere (I Only Wanted to Live), USC Shoah Foundation's 10th documentary, premieres in Rome, Italy. The documentary quickly becomes a critical success, screening at the Cannes Film Festival (Official Selection, Out of Competition) and at the Jerusalem Film Festival. The film also garners a nomination for Italy's main national film award, the Donatello Award, in the category of Best Feature Length Documentary.
