International Crimes in Ukraine: is Justice Possible?
AMBASSADOR STEPHEN J. RAPP, former US Ambassador-at-Large, Office of Global Criminal Justice, and former Chief Prosecutor at the Special Court for Sierra Leone and the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda, will discuss ongoing global efforts in national courts as well as before the International Criminal Court for prosecution of war crimes, crimes against humanity and genocide being perpetrated in Ukraine and their impact. He will also detail current efforts towards establishing a special international tribunal for prosecution of Russian officials for the crime of aggression, options being considered, and the prospects for its establishment.
