Prague Workshop: "Teaching with Testimony in the 21st Century" (August 2012)
USC Shoah Foundation–The Institute for Visual History and Education, organized a seminar for Ukrainian teachers at Central European University in Budapest, Hungary. The seminar ran within the framework of Teaching with Testimony for the 21st Century, the Institute's professional development program for teachers in Europe, from August 17-24. The program provides training centered on the educational use of Holocaust eyewitness testimony. Fifteen teachers from across Ukraine were introduced to pedagogical approaches and methods of multimedia educational resource development based on video testimony from the Institute’s Visual History Archive. more
