South Africa and Rwanda, April 2012
In April, two senior staff members of the USC Shoah Foundation Institute traveled to South Africa and Rwanda to meet with partners and explore new relationships and opportunities for collaborative initiatives.
Kim Simon, Managing Director, and Karen Jungblut, Director of Research and Documentation, began their trip in Johannesburg and Cape Town, then traveled to Rwanda to meet with colleagues at the Kigali Genocide Memorial Centre, some of whom participated in a recently spent time working and training at the Institute (details).
