Kiril Feferman, 2015-16 Fellow at USC Shoah Foundation Center for Advanced Genocide Research, concluded his four-month fellowship with a lecture Feb. 2 at USC about stories of religiously motivated survival and rescue in the occupied Soviet territories during World War II.

In this talk, Julia Werner attempts to tell the story of the ghettoization of the Jewish population in Poland through the lenses of several photographic collections combined with interviews from the USC Shoah Foundation Visual History Archive.

A photography exhibit that incorporates testimony from the Visual History Archive is now on display in Moscow following its debut in Prague last spring.

USC Shoah Foundation Regional Consultant Rob Hadley traveled to Cincinnati and Kentucky to lead IWitness workshops with teachers and students. It was the first time either school had been introduced to IWitness and both were deeply moved by the experience.
