Center for Advanced Genocide Research hosts its second conference

"Singing in the Lion's Mouth: Music as Resistance to Genocide" was sponsored by USC Visions and Voices, and organized by the USC Shoah Foundation Center for Advanced Genocide Research in collaboration with the USC Thornton School of Music. The event included two days of programming highlighting the use of music as a tool to resist oppression and spread awareness.

Sunday, October 11, 2015 Thorton School musicians performed in a Sunday evening concert of music that had been historically used as a form of resistance. sfi
