Workshop Videos

All participants of the Student Voices Film Contest are asked to take part in an Ethical Editing and Searching the Archive workshop, which will be offered multiple times throughout the semester. As well, there are additional optional workshops and events that will be made available to student participants, including public tours of the USC Shoah Foundation, introduction to and training in the Visual History Archive, constructing narratives and informational workshops with past contestants.

While we encourage students entering the competition to participate in as many workshops as they can, we realize how busy the academic semester is. We have therefore provided online video workshops of “Searching the Archive” and “Ethical Editing” for student participants to refer to while creating their films.
