Screenings Will Debut In Philadelphia, Highlighting The Re-Opening Of City’s Iconic Prince Music TheaterPhiladelphia, PA – July 25, 2013 - The 20th anniversary of Steven Spielberg’s epic film Schindler’s List (meticulously restored under his personal supervision) will be marked with a series of special screenings to benefit the USC Shoah Foundation - The Institute for Visual History and Education.

Liam Neeson will be attending USC Shoah Foundation – The Institute for Visual History and Education’s special 20th anniversary benefit screening of Schindler’s List that will be held in Philadelphia on Thursday, September 12.  Neeson played the starring role of German industrialist Oskar Schindler in the film, for which he received an Academy Award nomination.

Drexel University is now the 45th site in the world to have full access to USC Shoah Foundation’s Visual History Archive.

For nine Philadelphia high school students, a loaf of challah was one of the most special gifts they have ever received.

Featuring Junior Intern Ruth Hernandez, the event raised nearly $100,000 for USC Shoah Foundation.

The app by USC Shoah Foundation guides visitors as they move through the plaza, providing explanations about each interpretive element, as well as personal stories by survivors, maps, photos and other multimedia.
