Opening of Cuba's First Permanent Holocaust Exhibit, December 2011
The first permanent Exhibit about the Holocaust, displayed in Cuba, opened on December 18 at the Centro Sephardi (Sephardic Center) in Havana. The Exhibit, We Remember–The Holocaust and the Creation of a Living Community, shines a light on the Cuban Jewish experience of the Holocaust and raises awareness that a small Jewish community makes Cuba its home. press release

On Wednesday, November 30, 2011, four inspiring young men from Rwanda's Kigali Genocide Memorial Center spoke about their mission to document the past, and the purpose of taking testimony.
