Students and faculty have three unique and exciting opportunities to get involved with USC Shoah Foundation beginning this summer.

USC Shoah Foundation has partnered with JewishGen.org, an affiliate of the Museum of Jewish Heritage - A Living Memorial to the Holocaust, to integrate an index of data from nearly 50,000 Jewish Holocaust survivor testimonies found in the Visual History Archive® into the JewishGen Holocaust database.

USC Shoah Foundation's 2013-2014 Institute Scholar, Dr. Douglas Greenberg, will looks at the lives of Jews before, during, and after the Holocaust in the Wolyn district of modern Ukraine.

Agnes Adachi remembers attending the Olympic Games in Berlin 1936; and describes what it was like to watch Jesse Owens compete and win the gold medal. She recalls that the anti-Jewish restrictions and propaganda had been eased at the time because of the international presence in Germany.

The first in-classroom pilot of IWitness in Rwanda will take place next week at Kagarama Secondary School in Kigali.
