Awards for the Institute’s annual Student Voices Film Contest will be announced. The evening will include screenings of the winning films as well as a panel discussion with honorees and the distinguished jury.
Independent filmmakers Eric Kabera and Sam Kadi will serve on the Student Voices Film Contest jury for the first time.

USC Shoah Foundation, Outside the Box [Office], and Cohen Media Group invite you to a special preview screening of The Last of the Unjust.

The event will begin with a 30-minute discussion with Claude Lanzmann, hosted by Stephen Smith, Executive Director of the USC Shoah Foundation.
Offering a sweeping epic encompassing the years 1911–1945, this adaptation of the best-selling novel by Annejet van der Zijl tells the real-life love story of a mixed-race couple and their struggle to survive and help others in the Nazi-occupied Netherlands. Free spirit Rika, with four children, leaves her unfaithful husband and in order to survive, she rents out a spare room to the university student Waldemar, a bright young man from Surinam who is suffering deeply in racist Holland. Against all odds, Rika and Waldemar fall in love.
