Budapest’s Eötvos Loránd University (ELTE) offered its first-ever sign language seminar for hearing-impaired patrons on USC Shoah Foundation and the Visual History Archive on Oct. 6 at the university’s Central Library.

Students and educators have multiple opportunities to learn about USC Shoah Foundation and explore the Visual History Archive at Eötvos Loránd University (ELTE) in Budapest over the next few weeks.

A budapesti Eötvös Loránd Tudományegyetem Magyarországon a második és a világon a 45. hozzáférési pont, ahonnan a Vizuális Történelmi Archívum összes interjúja elérhető. Az első hozzáférési pont 2oo9-ben nyílt meg a Közép-európai Egyetemen (CEU).

Eötvös Loránd University in Budapest is now the second Visual History Archive access site in Hungary and the 45th in the world.

A gyűjteményben jelenleg közel 52 ezer videó látható, amelyek holokauszt-túlélők és szemtanúk, valamint a ruandai népirtás túlélőinek és szemtanúinak vallomásait rögzítik.

Az anyagok a George W. Schaeffer Foundation jóvoltából 2013 őszétől érhetőek el az Egyetemen.
