Meet Dr. Catherine Clark at Jewish American Summit 2025

Meg McDermott

Meg McDermott is the Director of Board and External Relations at the USC Shoah Foundation. In this role, she supports the Institute's Board of Councilors and partnerships with other key stakeholders. Prior to the Institute, she served as the Executive Director of Board Operations at the George Washington University. Meg previously held roles at Harvard and Tufts University, providing executive communications and special project management support for senior leadership. She holds a B.A.

In Memoriam: Wallis Annenberg, 1939–2025


The USC Shoah Foundation joins the University of Southern California and countless communities around the world to mourn the passing of Wallis Annenberg, a Life Member of the USC Shoah Foundation Board of Councilors and a towering figure in American philanthropy who passed away on July 28 at the age of 86.

D. Wes Rist is an atrocity prevention professional with nearly 20 years of experience in international human rights law, transitional justice, and international criminal justice. He previously served as an Atrocity Prevention Officer in the Bureau of Conflict & Stabilization Operations (CSO) at the U.S.

Gerald Molen

Gerald Molen, Academy Award®-winning producer of Schindler’s List, served on the founding advisory committee.

Karen Kushell

A production assistant on Schindler’s List, Karen Kushell led the effort to organize a team of experts to realize Steven Spielberg’s project of recording Holocaust survivor testimony.
