Italy’s National Archives Launches Web Portal to Survivor Testimonies
For the first time, the USC Shoah Foundation Institute’s collection of more than 430 Italian language testimonies—part of its collection of nearly 52,000 video testimonies of Holocaust survivors and other witnesses—will be available online. Last month, Italy’s Archivio Centrale dello Stato (Central State Archives) launched an online research portal that provides access to the testimonies, as well as to other archival holdings.
