ISTE is the creator and steward of the definitive education technology standards in the United States. Its mission is “to empower learners to flourish in a connected world by cultivating a passionate professional learning community, linking educators and partners, leveraging knowledge and expertise, advocating for strategic policies, and continually improving learning and teaching.”

ISTE has awarded IWitness its “Proficient” Seal of Alignment since 2013, which indicates that IWitness offers flexible implementation and provides opportunities to practice the skills and knowledge necessary to meet the ISTE Standards.

The annual conference and expo attracts nearly 20,000 attendees working in the field of education technology. Keynote speakers and over 1,000 sessions cover various topics including new tools in education, professional development, technology infrastructure and more. On the expo floor, attendees can meet representatives from across the edtech industry and explore exhibits of innovative technology solutions for students.

Extreme Networks is hosting the USC Shoah Foundation IWitness display at its booth #2528 at the expo. Extreme Networks is an industry leader in Wi-Fi, switching/routing, data center networking, high-performance computing and more. IWitness staff are on hand to provide demonstrations of IWitness, answer questions and help educators get started using IWitness to teach about genocide and tolerance in their classrooms.
