Last Chance to Apply for Greenberg and Katz Research Fellowships

Jared McBride at USC Shoah FoundationAdvanced standing PhD candidates have just five more days to apply for two fellowships at USC Shoah Foundation Center for Advanced Genocide Research.

The application deadline for the Greenberg Research Fellowship and Katz Fellowship in Genocide Studies is February 29, 2016.

Both fellowships provide $4,000 support for dissertation research focused on testimony from the USC Shoah Foundation Visual History Archive. The incumbents will each spend up to one month in residence at the USC Shoah Foundation Center for Advanced Genocide Research during the 2016-2017 academic year.

Previous Greenberg fellows are Jared McBride, PhD in Soviet and Eastern European History at UCLA, and Julia Werner, PhD in History at Humboldt University in Berlin. This is the first year the Center has offered the Katz fellowship
