New Dimensions in Testimony will be on display at Holocaust Museum Houston until May 30 as part of the museum’s artistic exhibit “A Celebration of Survival.”

USC Shoah Foundation Executive Director Stephen Smith lent his expertise, and New Dimensions in Testimony, to a panel on technology at Jewish Funders Network (JFN)’s annual international conference in Atlanta on March 20.

The group visiting the Institute’s office on Tuesday were students in Robert Hernandez’ digital journalism class at USC.

Museum visitors can now interact with the testimonies of Holocaust survivors Sam Harris, Aaron Elster and Fritzie Fritzshall, in addition to Pinchas Gutter, three weekends a month from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

USC Shoah Foundation will present its interactive media projects to some of the brightest minds in technology at the prestigious Code Conference, hosted by Vox Media, in Rancho Palos Verdes, Calif., May 30-June 1.

One year after the Future of Storytelling Festival exhibited USC Shoah Foundation’s New Dimensions in Testimony, Gustman has been invited back to give a talk at the 2017 Future of Storytelling Summit on October 4-5.

The Museum of Jewish Heritage’s – A Living Memorial to the Holocaust's pilot NDT installation marks the world premiere of the NDT testimony of Eva Schloss, a survivor of Auschwitz-Birkenau and the posthumous stepsister of Anne Frank.

The museum staff and students were among the first to see the NDT testimony of Nanjing Massacre survivor Madame Xia Shuqin.

New Dimensions in Testimony will be exhibited in the Abe & Ida Cooper Survivor Stories Experience, enabling visitors to interact with the project’s filmed testimonies of 13 survivors, including seven who live in the Chicago area.

This particular panel focused on NDT and its impact on the future of testimony at a time when fewer and fewer storytellers remain.

On the 80th anniversary of the Nanjing Massacre today, the Nanjing Massacre Memorial Hall in Nanjing, China, debuted its permanent exhibition of New Dimensions in Testimony (NDT), USC Shoah Foundation’s interactive survivor testimony technology.

New Dimensions in Testimony has been a work of passion for USC Shoah Foundation since 2010. After years of development at the University of Southern California including with USC Institute for Creative Technologies and with content developer Conscience Display, the program is now reaching audiences in museums around the world.
