On October 20, 2010, USC Shoah Foundation Institute hosted a screening of ENEMIES OF THE PEOPLE, followed by a discussion with Director/Producer Rob Lemkin and Cambodian Genocide survivor Kosal Path.

У липні Анна Ленчовська, регіональний консультант Інституту в Україні, та Олександр Войтенко, вчитель історії та освітній тренер, і партнер Інституту Фонду Шоа, провели воркшоп під назвою „Сила відеосвідчень у формуванні історичної пам’яті” для тридцяти двох вчителів з Грузії та Вірменії. Воркшоп був частиною міжнародного міжетнічного семінару „Джерела толерантності”, спрямованого на формування толерантності серед дітей і молоді, який відбувся 1-5 липня у Бакуріані, Грузія.
Video Testimony Beyond Borders: Ukrainian, Georgian, and Armenian Teachers Share Ideas
In July, Anna Lenchovska and Oleksandr Voitenko conducted a workshop entitled "The Power of Video Testimonies in the Formation of Historical Memory," for 32 teachers from Georgia and Armenia. The workshop was part of Sources of Tolerance.
Master Teacher Follow-Up Workshop
In July 2010, the USC Shoah Foundation Institute conducted a follow-up workshop with graduates of the 2009 Master Teacher Workshop. During the two-day workshop, each teacher presented his or her testimony-based lesson, which was developed as a result of the workshop, and discussed opportunities for continued involvement in the program. Funding for the Teacher Innovation Network is provided by the Leichtag Family Foundation.

Rwanda: Confronting a Painful Past
On September 2, 2010, the USC Shoah Foundation Institute hosted a panel discussion that addressed the role of testimony in the process of national mourning, transitional justice, and memorialization, in the 16 years since the Rwandan genocide.
Institute Among Select Group to Take Part in NSF-funded RIPS Program
The USC Shoah Foundation Institute is one of a select group of organizations invited to take part in UCLA's IPAM RIPS 2010 Program, providing an opportunity for high-achieving undergraduate students to work in teams on a real-world research project.
2010 Teaching with Testimony Workshop
From July 26-30, 2010, 18 educators, representing grades 4 through 12, attended the second annual Teaching with Testimony workshop, part of the Institute’s Master Teacher Program. The workshop provided participants with training on how to develop testimony-based classroom projects and integrate testimony from the Institute’s archive into existing curricula. USC Shoah Foundation Institute Trains Teachers at Intersection of Holocaust Education and Digital Literacy Studies
The Leichtag Family Foundation has a made a major gift that will enable the USC Shoah Foundation Institute to expand its Teacher Innovation Network, making possible this training for many educators over the next three years.
Nottingham Trent University Honors Smith Family For Founding UK Holocaust Centre
Nottingham Trent University will award honorary doctorates to Marina Smith and sons James Smith and Stephen D. Smith, USC Shoah Foundation Institute Executive Director, for establishing the Holocaust Centre, the United Kingdom's first dedicated Holocaust education and memorial institution.
