IWitness users looking for secondary source material can now use keywords to search "The Holocaust and Other Genocides: An Introduction," the first digital book to be integrated into the IWitness platform.
After a premiere in Rome in January 2006, Volevo solo vivere (I Only Wanted to Live), the USC Shoah Foundation Institute's 10th documentary, quickly became a critical success, screening at the Cannes Film Festival (Official Selection, Out of Competition) and at the Jerusalem Film Festival. The film also garnered a nomination for Italy's main national film award, the Donatello Award, in the category of Best Feature Length Documentary.
The office of the Ukrainian ombudsman conducted a seminar for 30 teachers on the best practices of human rights education using USC Shoah Foundation’s multimedia teaching guide, Where Do Human Rights Begin: Lessons of History and Contemporary Approaches.
