Zuzana Růžičková se narodila roku 1927 v Plzni. Po absolutoriu tamního gymnázia byla odvlečena do ghetta Terezín, odkud byla dále deportována do tábora smrti v Osvětimi - Birkenau. Osvobozena byla v koncentračním táboře Bergen - Belsen. Po válce vystudovala hru na klavír a cembalo, a stala se světově uznávanou interpretkou a profesorkou hudby.

Az 1944-es budapesti gettósítás során Ágnesnek sikerült édesanyjával maradni, bár a nyilasok többször is szét akarták őket választani.
Kun Ágnes (sz. Boskovitz Ágnes) 1940-ben született Budapesten. Ágnes még egészen kicsi volt, amikor édesapját behívták munkaszolgálatra. 1944 végén édesanyjával az óbudai téglagyárba vitték, ahonnan a budapesti gettóba kellett vonulniuk. A gettót 1945 januárjában szabadították fel a szovjet csapatok. Ágnes édesapja Ukrajnában halt meg.

Éva arról beszél, hogyan élte túl a nyilasok razziáját 1944 telén, Budapesten. Egy fiatal magyar nyilas el akarta vinni, de apja gyors közbelépésének köszönhetően megmenekült. Évekkel a háború után újra találkozott ezzel a férfival, aki addigra az Államvédelmi Hatóság őrnagya lett.

Kármán György felidézi, nem zsidó osztálytársai milyen antiszemita bánásmódban részesítették szegedi gimnáziumi évei alatt, illetve elmondja, hogyan reagált egy tanára a diáktársak megjegyzéseire.Kármán György 1933-ban született Szegeden. 11 éves volt, amikor Szeged teljes zsidóságát a helyi gettóba kényszerítették. Néhány hónappal később az osztrák Weitra koncentrációs táborba szállították, majd Strasshofba és Schützenbergbe. A háború után ismert zenész lett: orgona- és zongoraművész.
