Over a dozen new multimedia activities in a variety of languages have been published on IWitness in time for the new school year.
The Florida Holocaust Museum Authors IWitness Activity on Holocaust Refugees
Continuing its partnership with USC Shoah Foundation, The Florida Holocaust Museum (FHM) education staff have authored an IWitness activity introducing students to the challenges faced by Holocaust refugees, titled “Walter Loebenburg: Refugee Experiences During the Holocaust.”
Seven New Hungarian-Language Activities Published on IWitness
A set of new activities on the IWitness activities page are all in Hungarian, part of the Institute’s efforts to globalize the education of students and their teachers about hatred and intolerance using USC Shoah Foundation’s Visual History Archive.

A new IWitness activity focuses on the complex situation in Hungary after liberation. Students interpret and evaluate different behaviors exemplified through the testimony and film clips and think about their past and present correlations.
