Visual History Archive Workshops Coming to Northeastern University, Keene State College and University of Pennsylvania
Students and faculty at three colleges on the East Coast are invited to attend introductory workshops about the Visual History Archive, hosted by USC Shoah Foundation Center for Advanced Genocide Research.
The three workshops are:
Northeastern University: March 22, 3-5 p.m.
Library Computer Lab, 360 Huntington Ave., Boston
Keene State College: March 23, 1:30-3:30 p.m.
Mason Library 104, 229 Main St., Keene, New Hampshire
University of Pennsylvania: March 27, 11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m
Van Pelt Library, Meyerson Conference Center 223, 3420 Walnut St., Philadelphia
S.J. Crasnow, USC Shoah Foundation Center for Advanced Genocide Research's Academic Outreach and Research Program Officer, will lead these introductory workshops about the Visual History Archive. The workshop will cover the history of the archive, strategies for searching the testimonies, and examples of how the VHA has been used in classroom teaching.
Students and faculty from all disciplines and departments are welcome to attend.
