U příležitosti Mezinárodního dne památky holocaustu byly českým učitelům ve dnech 24. až 26. ledna v rámci unikátního pilotního programu představeny vzdělávací materiály vytvořené čtyřmi institucemi: experti z Jad Vašem, Vzdělávacího a kulturního centra Židovského muzea v Praze, Památníku Terezín a USC Shoah Foundation společně s místními aktivisty představili vzdělávací materiály a další pomůcky vytvořené jejich organizacemi. Seminář navštívil tři města v pohraničí: Ústí nad Labem, Klášterec nad Ohří, a Varnsdorf. 

Centrum vizuální historie Malach na Univerzitě Karlově, které bylo veřejnosti slavnostně představeno 29. 1. 2010, konečně začíná plnit svůj účel – zpřístupňuje návštěvníkům 52 000 výpovědí o holokaustu. Freie Universität stellt erstmalig deutsche Version von digitalem Video-Archiv vorDie Freie Universität Berlin hat heute erstmals das multimediale Archiv-Projekt „Zeugen der Shoah. Das Visual History Archive in der schulischen Bildung“ vorgestellt. Das von der Stiftung Deutsche Klassenlotterie Berlin (DKLB) geförderte Projekt eröffnet Schülerinnen und Schülern in Deutschland den Zugang zu über 50.000 Video-Interviews mit Zeugen des Holocaust und leistet somit einen wichtigen Beitrag zur Erinnerung an die Opfer und zur Bildung über die NS-Zeit.
